About Project

Gold 7 was the 7th version of a suite of advanced court record management applications used by government and legal agencies by For The Record. The application had been around for a number of years, and while the technology was powerful, it was difficult for clients and even internal teams to fully understand the product range.

The design for the landing page of Gold 7 came from the goal to bring clarity, structure, and visual logic to a complex ecosystem — transforming technical information into a clear, strategic narrative.

The Challenge & Strategy

The company’s previous website struggled to communicate the breadth and capability of its Gold application suite. The value points were buried, and even internal teams found it difficult to describe how each product fit within the system. The challenge was to translate a highly technical, multi-layered platform into something intuitive, visual, and easy to grasp — without oversimplifying the technology behind it.

Design Process

I began by mapping the product architecture and gathering feedback from both technical staff and end users to identify where confusion occurred. From there, I created a unified visual system and modular layout that made each product’s purpose and connection to the larger platform immediately clear.

Outcome

The redesigned platform provided immediate clarity across audiences. Internal teams are able to reference the new landing page during client demos, and support teams use the visual breakdowns to explain the Gold 7 suite and system connections. The simplified layout and structured content flow helped reduce client confusion, while the clean design reinforced the company’s credibility and technical excellence.
